When I asked for help, I hoped for maybe 3 people. The amount who actually offered completely blew me away. Thank you for strengthening my faith in humanity! It’s pretty motivating as well, so hopefully this will have me sticking around until Aoharaido ends, despite my terrible attention span. And releases should definitely be much faster now.

Hahahahaaaaaaaa omg I’m so sorry, chapter 15 will be up soon, I just did something really stupid oh god don’t even ask. Just uh. Enjoy chapter 16 and 17 for now. 15 will be here by tomorrow, promise. (FORGET THAT I PROMISED THE SAME THING YESTERDAY, PLEASE.)
In other news, new ‘About’ page and a new page about learning Japanese because I get mails about it sometimes. And Strobe Edge is licensed! I’m taking it down in a week, okay. Though I have opinions about this, but… well. Choosing to be as legal as possible. Hope those of you who can will support dear Sakisaka-sensei and buy a copy when it becomes available :)

Thanks so much for the releases! I’ve read the translations done by other groups and while all of them are good, I favor Team Bikkuri’s translations the most because I like the way you guys phrase and word things. I don’t know, there’s a certain sensitivity that really moves me that the other guys don’t really capture? Then again, what do I know, since I can’t read Japanese anyway. I can only respond to how I feel, and I like your versions the best. Anyway, thank you so much!

I was buying the French edition (consider French is only my third language, ahaha… but the Italian publisher – I’m a native Italian speaker – for Strobe is on my blacklist in terms of quality/price/customer service ratio hence I went for vive la France X,D) as they’re close to completion there, but it’s good to know I have the English alternative as well in case of troubles with imports from France for the 5+ volumes (unlike English publications online purchase sources , the French ones tends to be more expensive in terms of shipping fees/online availability). And I’m happy for all the English-speaking folks as well, wider support for the mangaka and enjoyment all rolled into one <3.

What on earth took the English publishers so long? XD Oh well. At least they’ve come to their senses now. I bet it’ll take them forever to finish all ten volumes, though.

And actually, both Strobe Edge as well as Aoharaido will be available in German soon. Sakisaka-sensei is really on the roll currently, I guess. XD And how glad I am for that. Couldn’t stop applauding and grinning madly for an hour or so, when I heard the news of the license for my country. XD Especially as just a half year before, I spoke to an editor of the publisher about how much I adore SE. Makes me feel victorious now. XD

/ June 17, 2012I wish my country had a thriving manga licensing niche too. Since almost everyone knows and speaks english we tend to just rely on US/UK releases. And US releases are sooo slow.

/ June 17, 2012Yeah, it’s the same thing in my country. I wouldn’t really mind, except it takes forever for English licensed manga to show up in shops here. That, combined with how slow US releases are in and of themselves… Oh, but it doesn’t really matter for me anymore, I guess. Haha.

Favorite part was the railroad crossing scene when she was playing around with saying “suki” and then kou holding her close. kyaaaaah!
also loved the way yuuri handled her rejection and her interaction with futaba <3
the library dude's entrance to the scene doesn't bother me at all. he's cute when he blushes hehehe. hopefully he can be a catalyst for kou to realize his feelings for futaba.
